Adrian Elected President of Kansas Bar Foundation

Thomas A. Adrian, Newton, was elected to serve as the president of the Kansas Bar Foundation (KBF) for 2003-2004. Adrian is a partner in the law firm of Adrian & Pankratz and practices in the areas of estate planning, probate administration, living trusts, hospital law, and collections.

Adrian received his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1966 and his law degree in 1969 from Washburn University. He was the assistant county attorney for Harvey County from 1974-1975 and is a member of the Harvey County, Kansas, American Bar, and American Health Lawyers associations. He is past president of the Harvey County Bar (1990-1991) and past chairman of Law Day for the Kansas Bar (1972).

Adrian has been actively involved in his community of 17,000 people, serving on many boards throughout the years. In 1998, he was named Newton’s Citizen of the Year for his long history of community service. He also served as the chairman of the board of trustees for the Newton Medical Center from 1987-1993 and is a member of the board of directors of the Central National Bank of Newton.

Adrian is married to Ann. They have two daughters, Lori, an engineer, and Lisa, a lawyer, and two grandchildren.
